Swimming is a great workout and one of the most body-friendly forms of exercise available. Plus, it’s as much fun for seniors as it is for kids.
Both the Downtown and Valley Club locations have beautiful pools and numerous ways to get the most out of your swim time. There’s open and lap swim, as well as water aerobics.
Our deep water (Downtown) and shallow water (Valley) aerobics focus on total body conditioning and aerobic fitness. Running and walking with buoyancy and resistance equipment not only enhances muscular endurance but also helps develop cardiovascular fitness in a low impact environment.
For kids, there’s the junior swim team at the Downtown location, open to members ages 5 -18 years old. Swimming lessons for children are available at both locations, as well as private and semi-private lessons for adults and kids.
Red Cross-certified Water Safety Instructors teach all six levels of the American Red Cross Water Safety Program as well as instructors for the Preschool and Parent-Tot programs.
